    Several months ago, it was reported that a popular spot in downtown Boston for Vietnamese sandwiches had closed permanently. Now we have learned that another Vietnamese sandwich shop is moving into the space. According to a Twitter post from jgmahoney, Banh Mi Huong Que is opening on Washington Street, taking over the former New Saigon Sandwich space on the edge of Chinatown.   • Torito Mexican Restaurant to Open in Former Chili's Space in Danvers

    A brand new Mexican spot is coming to the North Shore, taking over the space where a location of a chain of Tex-Mex restaurants had been until closing over the summer. According to a source, Torito Mexican Restaurant is planning to open in Danvers in the old Chili's space on Route 1, with a sign now being up for the place. An earlier page from the Danvers Select Board seems to confirm this, mentioning that Torito had been looking to acquire the liquor license from Chili's to operate in that location.
